職工頭圍用膳


下午五時才踏進食店,吃我這天的第一餐,下午茶已過,單點我最喜愛的白菜拼西洋菜餃。

店裡食客不多,但看見三個廚子在爐邊忙得團團轉,先是切菜聲,然後炒呀炒,嘩,還拋了好幾次鑊,未到晚飯時間,我點的餃子雙拼,放湯進鍋裡滾不過三兩分鐘的事,他們到底在忙什麼?

我的餃子還未熟,只一碟又一碟菜放好在前面的桌上,五時半,是職工用膳時間,菜的內容我是看不清楚,但看見他們這麼認真對待自己的飯餸,真有點羨慕。廚子們坐下,跟老闆有說有笑,說的是家鄉話,所以食評都說這裡的餃子夠地道吧,連食客也不想打擾他們這短短的休息時間,因為職工用膳過後,可能要迎接一個忙碌的晚上。

說回我點的餃子雙拼,清爽的西洋菜餃與白菜餃同出一徹,愛其爽脆味淡,與鮮肉互相平衡。單點才不過二十多塊,是我往堅道蹓躂的一個好去處,希望有機會不是獨個兒開餐,多試它們的拿手菜式。
